Welcome, Martha Currie families! Did you know that all parents and guardians of students registered in the school are able to participate and are automatically considered members of the PAC?
On behalf of the PAC - welcome! The MC PAC provides a link between the school and the parents & guardians of students attending École Martha Currie Elementary. We are a 100% volunteer-driven organization. The PAC is managed by an executive committee who are elected each year. During the year, you will see the PAC hosting a number of fundraisers, activities and events for our students. This past year, we have hosted events like hot lunch days and the Holiday Market, ran concession at track meets and brought in presentations for the students. So far, we've raised over $12,000 for new technology this year, dispersed $8,050 in classroom funds, $10,800 in field trip funds, $7,800 in school presentations and lessons and two scholarships to our feeder high schools, École Salish Secondary and Lord Tweedsmuir Secondary.
Attend one of our PAC meetings held throughout the year to hear updates from our principal, Mrs. Jennifer Tarnowski and our vice-principal, Mr. Danniel Gardner, as well as our executive PAC members. Dates for the all meetings and events will be announced on all our social media sites as well as the school's Newsflash.
There are also various opportunities to get involved in all that the PAC are doing, from volunteering for hot lunch days to planning fundraisers. Check out our website for more details
All are welcome!
